4-i (aka Dirty Projector) is an Istanbul-based producer and DJ uplifting dance floors everywhere metaphorically (with electric sets blending experimental sounds with timeless melodies that make you feel like we are in a magical and uncanny jungle), metaphysically (with their support of Istanbul’s musical queer community as an organizer, photographer and stage-builder), and literally.
They are a member of queer and trans-led record label, event series, art platform XSM and resident of Istanbul-based party series Queerwaves. 4-i also organizes parties that nourishes Istanbul’s queer scene with line-ups featuring local and global artists. Their discography features remixes of tracks by iconic artists Alizade, Sissy Misfit, and Ceytengri.
