Modern Clix w/ María Mot
- Music
- Electronica
María Mot is an Argentinian composer weaving together the seemingly opposite worlds of experimental music and pop. Her latest release, Haikus 俳句, is a five-track digital album that explores the harmonic resonances and microtonal nuances of sound. She has performed in Argentina and Japan, presenting live sets that explore harmonics and sonic textures as spaces for contemplation. Beyond her solo work, she is part of Las Lelush, a pop duo inspired by kitsch and indie sleaze aesthetics, which expands her range into playful explorations of electroclash and club-driven sounds.
Each episode of Modern Clix (its name drawn from the Charly García album) offers a sonic journey through Latin American electronic, experimental and pop music, uncovering hidden gems and overlooked voices from the region. Every mix revolves around a central theme — such as love, crisis, solitude, politics, or contemplation — weaving together tracks that reflect these experiences. It also features some special guests, interviewing artists.
