Campos de Lavanda - Rocío Morgenstern y Josefina Tai
“I make sounds, I seek silence.”
Focused on creating atmospheres and spaces for listening, the work of Rocío Morgenstern draws from influences ranging from ambient and minimalism to various Eastern artistic traditions. Using the sonorities of ancient acoustic instruments, granular textures, and field recordings, she builds an evocative sonic imaginary that invites introspective contemplation and an empathetic encounter with the natural and human world around us.
In this opportunity, the live set “Campos de Lavanda” (Lavender Fields) is presented together with sound artist Josefina Tai, performer of the traditional Eastern instrument Guzheng. Together, they weave a dialogue between the acoustic and the electronic, between the classical and the contemporary, generating a space of experimentation and feedback where both worlds mutually enhance one another.
