The word "Veranda" refers to a centuries old architectural element that is an essential part of many homes, especially those built in warm tropical climates. This space in the home is often used for introspection, socializing, and admiring the natural surroundings. Kahli is an open format selector with a mixed heritage and will use this show as an opportunity to create a sonic landscape that dives into raw samples, short cuts, and released and unreleased tracks from Sri Lankan producers and other artists in the region. Most of which have first been appreciated on her very own veranda. Expect a wide variety of tempos and styles. VERANDA will air once every two months and will be evolving along the way.
