Miss T Delight is a Berlin-based DJ, born in Ankara and shaped by the chaos of Istanbul. Rooted in a classical music upbringing and a lifelong love for hip hop, she’s always been drawn to sound in all its forms-refusing to be boxed in by genre. Her sets blend shake-your-ass energy with intention: weaving together diasporic rhythms, hip hop textures, and diverse electronic music influences to create space for joy, resistance, and connection on the dancefloor.With this mix, she brings you sounds from her region mixed with other diasporic rhythms she finds herself drawn in. This show features the interview recorded after AREF’s live performance at the Open Studio session on Al Qursaya Island in Cairo. AREF is a musical duo formed by brothers Ahmed Refai and Ali Refai, whose sound blends jazz, ambient currents, and Arabic musical traditions, centering improvisation and live experimentation. Afterwards, we had the chance to speak with visual artist Hana Salaama about her artistic practice and the ways Cairo shapes and influences her emerging career.

For this very first installment of the "Around The World" project on Gatekeeper Radio, we are starting with our homeland: Canada! We introduce you to the first of three Canadian artists, Vancouver-based powerhouse DJ dood.

DJ dood is a Vancouver based DJ and promoter with a taste for high energy, groove driven sets. Moving fluidly between house, progressive house and techno, she blends cheeky vocals with rolling basslines, balancing a love for timeless dancefloor moments with a forward looking approach that keeps things unpredictable. She’s shared the bill with artists like Moxie, Prosumer, Cinthie, DJ Boring, and Brawther, and in recent years has launched two event series: dood’s dancefloor, spotlighting queer and femme talent, and Full House alongside Max Ulis, showcasing both local and international acts.
Beyond the booth, she’s the Program Manager for Public Disco, helping turn city spaces into open air dancefloors. Her footprint across the Vancouver scene includes appearances at Bass Coast, Vantek, Industrial, Village Studios, Celebrities and The Birdhouse, along with her monthly Bside Radio show, Sup dood?

DJ dood’s mix is thick and rolling, deep house with warm analog bass and swung percussion. It’s got that 90s bump with dusty drums, dubby grooves, and shuffling hats that feel both loose and locked in. The sound moves between hypnotic and soulful, with chunky low end pressure and just enough grit to keep it raw. It’s unhurried and groovy, the kind of mix that breathes with steady energy, smooth transitions, and textures that sound like smoke and sweat wrapped around a late night floor.
